The Harveys Say I Do!!

On the 6th of August, Roshaunda and Derrick declared their love for each other in front of family and friends at The W Hotel DC.

We had the pleasure to work with the amazing staff of Events by J. Avery to make this a beautiful, elegant event. But they had an amazing team backing them up, John Farr Lighting provided the perfect mood for such a special occasion, as this was. The gorgeous floral wall and floral decor was provided by Davinci Florist. Along with the fun sounds of DJ Chuck B kept the night full of energy. The perfect sweets to complete the night were provided by Fancy Cakes By Leslie, which just an amazingly beautiful cake!

The bride, groom and their wedding party looked oh so dapper (the ladies) in their Cherry Blossom Bridal Gowns, and (the men) in their Suits by Men's Warehouse. Thanks to Whitney Parker keeping the bridal party and bride's hair kept all day and the beautiful make up provided by Kendra. This event was just beautiful, and my team and I were so happy to be apart.

Please enjoy, share, and credit this special occasion in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey!!!

Peace and Love was exactly the Mood for this past Sunday afternoon at the New York Ave. Men's Emergency Shelter in Washington, DC.

Volunteers from all over the city dedicated their skills, time, compassion and love for the men who needed it more. Chef's from all over the city came together and prepared

sensational meals and hundreds of men got to expereince a true fine dinning encounter as they were served a three course meal. Organizers and organization from Tony Lewis, Jr., Raheem DeVaughn

and his Love Life Foundation and the founder and volunteers from Black Celebrity Giving (BCG), joined forces to make a huge impact on a number of men.

But that is not where it ended. Barbers, like Wade The Barber pictured below, lended their talents as well. Between serving the community and raising money, each effort was not in vain.

Overall, a good time was had by all, and a my heart was full because two things that are so important to me, service (and those that know me, know's I love to eat) and food was nourishing to so many bodies but especialy the soul. Hence, Sunday Soul!!!!

"When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon my heart, I will dance like David danced"

Go "David"!!!!! ;-)
